Membership Categories & Fees

Membership with FEI is open to all finance executives who meet our Membership Qualifications.  Members of FEI are required to pay annual dues. Engaging in your local Chapter enhances peer-to-peer relationships and expands your professional network.

Membership Categories

Executive

The Executive Membership category is open to executives who perform some or all of the duties of a financial
executive, as defined by FEI and those who serve companies of sufficient size to meet FEI’s qualifications.
Applicants for Executive Membership must meet the specified requirements and must hold a FEI qualifying
title or serve on an audit committee as his/her profession.

In-Transition

Applicants, or membership category transfers, for in-transition membership must be unemployed. This category is open to applicants who have held a qualifying position (refer to membership qualifications) during the past five (5) years. All applications must be accompanied by a current resume and proof of former employment (business card, personalized company letterhead or pay-stub with confidential information removed). Members may remain in the category for two (2) consecutive years at the specified reduced dues rate.

Retired and Life Retired (Current Members only)

A member is eligible to transfer into the categories of Retired/Life Retired Membership if the member is in good standing and fully retired from active business and/or from the field of education. Any Executive or Academic member may elect to purchase a Life Retired Membership upon full retirement. Retired/Life Retired membership records cannot reflect business contact information, and all business-related information will be removed. Any member considering Retired/Life Retired membership should contact FEI's Member Services Department office to determine eligibility.
